FRESCO – Colerne School’s Parent Teacher Association, is a collective of both parents and teachers who are interested in supporting the school and its students. All funds raised go towards enhancing the school experience by providing extra activities and experiences such as new play equipment, the Science Dome and learning new skills with the circus!

JOIN THE TEAM!

Our meetings are usually very informal with event planning and organising the main focus. We meet once a month and are always open to new committee members joining. BUT if meetings aren’t your thing and you’d just like to help at the events occasionally, just join our Helping Hands register and we’ll give you a shout when we’re planning something new!

We also have a wonderful group of volunteers that support us at our committee meetings and events. You don’t have to be on the committee to get involved.

WHAT’S INVOLVED?

Throughout the year we run, or are involved in, many social events for both students and parents including the Easter Trail, Pamper Evening, Christmas Fayre, Armed Forces Day, and the School Disco. Could you lend your skills to:

+ running our event bar
+ event planning
+ crowd control
+ generating ideas
+ speaking to local businesses
+ liaising with the local community
+ wrapping presents at Christmas
+ running raffles
+ manning stands
+ baking cakes
+ making tea and coffee

All parents and teachers can get involved, even if you only have a small amount of available time. The varied work means there’s something for everyone – it’s not just about being on the committee.
